Home Staging is the rearranging and presenting of a property’s interior to highlight its full potential to prospective buyers. This involves professionally styling and dressing it for photography and viewings, which is essential to ensure you stand out in the property market.
In an independent study conducted by the Home Staging Association, 94% of Estate Agents confirmed that staging a property increases the amount of viewings.
So simply put, home staging is a tool that helps you to make a statement and get your property noticed, resulting in a quick sale.

Unlike interior design, which is extremely personal to the client, home staging is largely impersonal yet very stylish, so that the property appeals to a larger audience.
Staging a property is about selling a dream to someone and allowing them to visualise themselves living in that space. In a market flooded with new build alternatives, it is essential to compete with the aspirational lifestyles this kind of property promotes.
Statistics show that approximately 80% of prospective buyers can’t visualise how to use the space in a room. Staging allows the buyer to imagine themselves in the space and form an emotional connection with the property – remember, no one has ever fallen in love with an empty room!
Staging a property also eliminates any doubts in a buyer’s mind about whether or not their furniture will fit into the space. Many people do not know the size of furniture or the spacing requirements for a functional layout, therefore staging not only gives a sense of scale to a room but it also shows the buyer how they can easily use the space.

Research carried out by Rightmove shows that staged homes sell for 8% more than non-staged homes. Not only that but 78% of Estate Agents confirm that home staging would increase the offer value of a property by up to 10%!
